- While we are excited to see everyone, we are asking those outside of households to maximize physical distancing.
- Please refrain from physical contact with other attendees, including hugging and handshakes.
If you have any questions or need assistance with registration, please email [email protected] or call the church office at (905) 294-6716 ext. 500.
Kidzone is starting up on November 7th. For the first few weeks, beginning on October 3rd, children will stay with their parents in the auditorium. We will have ‘service swag bags’ to keep your children engaged.
Youth / Junior High (Vibe)
Our in-person youth program will be launching on October 3rd as well and will run during our 3:15 pm service. You can check-in with your child at our normal check-in stations then your child will be directed towards the youth experience.
If you are not yet comfortable with gathering in person, we understand and that’s okay. We will continue our online services just as we have been doing throughout the pandemic – and we look forward to seeing you again when you’re comfortable gathering with us in person. You can still watch us on YouTube, Facebook or bridgelive.ca!
Sundays @ 3:15 pm
In-person Watch Parties
Get together with your small group, family or friends and watch online in homes, backyards, or any space you can gather together in a safe and comfortable way. We encourage you to stand, sing, lean into the message and engage in meaningful connection and discussion.
Online Watch Parties
Feeling uncomfortable getting together in-person? Gather over ZOOM or YouTube. We encourage your group to watch Sunday’s Experience together either live or on-demand, then engage online for discussion, prayer and connection.
Masks are required to be worn for ages JK and up at all times while indoors.
Registration and COVID-19 self-screening required.
Thorough cleaning to be done before, during, and after services.
If anyone shows symptoms during service, there will be an isolation room available for them to stay until they are able to safely leave service.
Our Auditorium Service Hosts will guide you to social distanced seating.
What if I did not pre-register?
If there are spots still available, walk-ins are welcome and can register in person at the check-in desk.
What if I registered but can no longer make it?
To allow your spot to be made available for someone else, we would really appreciate it if you can go online and “cancel” your registration. This can be done through the confirmation email you received after registering. Or, you could let us know by emailing [email protected] or call the church at (905) 294-6716 ext. 500.
What do I do if I am having trouble registering?
If you are having trouble registering online, please email [email protected] or call the church at (905) 294-6716 ext. 500.
What if registration is full?
If registration is full it is important to join the waitlist. This provides us with valuable information regarding demand. After joining the waitlist please join us for our live stream of the service.
What is the mobile pass I received via email for?
The mobile pass will be used for check-in purposes. This will be for your household and will be used for any future in-person gathering / event that you register for that requires check-in. We ask that you download your mobile pass in advance and have it ready when you arrive at check-in.
Do I have to wear a mask?
The City of Markham bylaw requires masks to be worn in indoor public spaces such as churches. Anyone JK age and up will need to wear a mask, with exceptions for medical reasons.
Since masks are required, please do not bring food or beverages into the building.
What if I forget my mask?
We’ll have disposable masks in case you forgot yours.
What do I do if I am not feeling well after I attended the service?
If you start experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested. Please also notify the church as soon as possible if you experience symptoms. Please email [email protected] or call the church office at (905) 294-6716 ext. 500.
Is there in-person Children’s Ministry for my child?
There will be no in-person Children’s Ministry until November. Make sure to head over to Kidzone Online for more information and our weekly lessons. Starting October 3rd, there will be a calming space for a parent to check-in with their young child (Pre K aged and younger) . There will be limited capacity in this space to keep it safe, and a volunteer will be present for questions or to connect with.
What do I do if my child needs to be changed?
The men’s and women’s washrooms at The Olive Branch Church are outfitted with a change table.
How do I give my offering?
To minimize contact, we encourage you to give electronically or mail a cheque to the church. If you’d prefer to give in person, an offering envelope drop-box will be available in lieu of passed offering plates.
